In 2001, one of the world's biggest ecological nightmares was closed. Now, eleven years later, the former Fresh Kills Landfill is being transformed into one of the City's largest Parks. "The Fresh Kills Story" is an hour-long documentary that not only looks back at the effort to close the landfill, but toward its future as well.
"The Fresh Kills Story" premieres on Thursday, September 20th at 7pm (doors open at 6:30pm) at the St. George Theatre. The show is FREE and open to the public.
